Refund & Return Policy

At MM Window, we take pride in delivering high-quality digitization and archival services tailored to each client’s needs. Due to the custom and labor-intensive nature of our work—including hard book scanning, paper digitization, and archival preservation—all sales and service agreements are considered final. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and have outlined the following refund and return policy:


1. Non-Returnable Services

As we provide personalized services that involve irreversible processes (e.g., disbinding, scanning, and digital formatting), we do not accept returns or exchanges once a project has commenced or been delivered.


2. Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds are granted only under the following conditions:

  • Service Not Rendered: If the project has not been started, and the client requests cancellation in writing within 24 hours of payment, a full or partial refund may be issued.
  • Service Error: If there is a clear and verifiable error on our part (e.g., incorrect file delivery, scanning omission), we will correct the issue free of charge. If correction is not possible, a partial refund may be considered.

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of service completion.


3. Quality Concerns

If you are not satisfied with the output quality (resolution, format, image clarity, etc.), please contact us at [support@mmwindow.com] within 7 days of delivery. We will review your concern and:

  • Offer a re-scan or re-processing (where feasible), or
  • Provide a service credit toward a future project.

Note: Quality issues due to poor original material condition (e.g., faded ink, torn pages, mold damage) are not eligible for refund unless explicitly guaranteed in the service agreement.


4. Cancellation Policy

  • Projects may be canceled before scanning begins, subject to a cancellation fee if preparatory work (e.g., intake, disbinding, cataloging) has already been performed.
  • Once scanning or digitization begins, cancellations are no longer eligible for refund.

5. Shipping Damages

For clients who ship physical materials to us:

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
  • We strongly recommend using trackable shipping and insuring your packages.

If we return your original materials post-digitization and damage occurs in transit, we will assist you in filing a claim with the courier.
